Another short post, but gawd. I had to share this video.
Florence is a majestic goddess and I could not be more excited to hear that she is releasing another album, and then to hear that it is on a theme that is so emotionally resonant with me right now. I.cant.even.

Ceremonials’ was so fixated on death and water, and the idea of escape or transcendence through death, but the new album became about trying to learn how live, and how to love in the world rather than trying to escape from it. Which is frightening because I’m not hiding behind anything, but it felt like something I had to do. (NME)
Over the 6 months, I have battled the deep desire to run away, to escape, but have realized that this period of time, I have to be here, to learn how to live in a way that is true to myself, rather than escaping from the hard stuff.
June 1st is going to be magical. Now excuse me as listen to this on repeat for the next four hours. The perfect accompaniment for this train ride to TO.
