For the final days of my research visit to Sweden, I took a short train journey from Stockholm to Göteborg for the Epidemiology and Social Psychiatry section of the European Psychiatric Association. 
Between the four days of presentations, networking, and sessions on psychiatric epidemiology, I was able to sneak out and explore a tiny amount of this gregarious little town with a huge amount of Christmas spirit. Here were a few pics of the sparkling lights and the cheery nature of this little city.

Like you, we only had a glimpse of Goteborg – being on the way to Oslo. It must really be pretty in the day!

I am sure Goteborg has many more charming corners to explore during the day. Hopefully we will get a chance to explore Goteborg a little more, but I do think the xmas magic was particularly evident at night.
