Training, planning, & taking time off: Tough Girls #3

Hey guys!

It has been a while since I have posted – I have a backlog of photos and stories to post, but I have been busy traveling, working, and training.

I did have a bit of time to touch base with Sarah Williams of the Tough Girl podcast to chat about what I have been doing in the past month, how my training for the LEJOG trip and Coast-to-Coast adventure race is going, and how I am finding balance with adventure preparation and real life obligations.

You can find the full interview on the Tough Girl Challenges website (here) or on iTunes, Acast, Soundcloud, or other places you get your podcasts. I am first up this episode, so my part comes on at approximately 4 minutes! A summary of the episode is also available here: 7 Women – 7 Challenges 2017 – Part 3

If you missed the previous episodes, you can find past episodes on the Tough Girl Challenges website or your podcast app:

Episode 1: My interview starts at 2:18:30.

Episode 2: My interview starts at approximately 3:57:50.

I didn’t really chat about the ongoing fundraising efforts, but this is all part of my Pedalling for Mental Health challenge, where I am raising money to support important mental health research. You can find out more here or donate here at Virgin Money Giving.

The training and adventures are all part of my  “Pedalling for Mental Health” journey where I am hoping to raise money for mental health research. If you are able to support this great charity, please donate here (JustGiving) or here (Virgin Money Giving)Slide1
